Work Phone
- What am I being required to obtain or to use a separate work phone?
- A separate work phone is required to maintain confidentiality for candidates and to comply with data protection laws.
- We will require that you either us a mobile handset or a VOIP system for making and receiving work calls
- Can I use the work phone for my personal use?
- You can...but the work phone is to be used while working, and switched off whenever you are not working.
- If I am assigned to use a mobile will it come with a SIM card?
- Yes...your new work phone will come with its own SIM card
- Which mobile phone network will my work mobile be connected to?
- Vodafone
- Will I be required to register the SIM card before using it?
- Yes...the SIM card must registered with the Vodafone network prior to use
- Whom will I be calling with the work phone?
- Candidates, and or clients of the company
- Am I permitted to contact candidates using my personal phone?
- No!... That would be a breach of confidentiality and data protection laws
- How much will the new mobile phone unit?
- The simple handset costs only £10-£12
- How much will the monthly top-up cost if I am assigned to use a mobile?
- Unlimited minutes will cost £10.00 each month
- What happens to the work mobile when/if I terminate my employment with the company?
- Upon termination, you will be required to surrender the phone/charger/battery and SIM card to the company
- How will I make calls using a VOIP system?
- Using the internet
- What are the advantages of using the VOIP system?
- All calls are recorded in the cloud
- Call reports are available
