Office Intake Visits

1. What is the purpose of the OFFICE INTAKE meting?

  • To meet additional team members that attend the office INTAKE meeting
  • All new staff are required to attend at least one intake meeting

2. Is the office intake the same as the WEEKLY CHECK-IN meetings?

  • No!
  • WEEKLY CHECK-IN meetings are designed for existing staff who wish to pop in to collect/drop items, to receive updates, or to attend training sessions.

3. What are the dates of 2025 OFFICE INTAKE?

  • July: 3rd, 17th
  • August: 7th, 21st
  • September: 4th, 18th
  • October: 2nd, 16th
  • November: 6th, 20th
  • December: 4th, 18th

4. Is attendance at OFFICE INTAKE a mandatory requirement?

  • YES!
  • You will be sent an invitation along with a meeting agenda. 

5. Are there any special requirements to attend OFFICE INTAKE?

  • YES!
  • To receive an invitation to attend OFFICE INTAKE, you must be on track or current with  your task and career development plans. 

6. I was promised an OFFICE INTAKE appointment on the 4th day of my employment, why did I not receive an INTAKE meeting invitation?

  • To be invited to attend INTAKE, you must either be on track or have successfully completed onboarding. 

7. What happens during the OFFICE INTAKE meeting?

  • During the OFFICE INTAKE meeting, you will be introduced to other team members, and you can also collect your work laptop unit at that time if you had requested an INTAKE meeting pick-up.

8. What happens if I cannot attend on the date set for my OFFICE INTAKE meeting?

  • Simply send an email to hrdepartment@mediamarketinguk.com giving the reason(s) why you are unable to attend, and request a new date.
  • You are not permitted to miss two consecutive OFFICE INTAKE dates.

9. What should I do if am scheduled to attend OFFICE INTAKE but did not receive an invitation?

  • If you do not receive your OFFICE INTAKE invitation by 3:00PM on the Tuesday before, simply send an email to hrdepartment@mediamarketinguk.com, and your invitation will be sent out to you if you are on-track/current with your tasks and development.

10. When should I expect to receive my OFFICE INTAKE invitation?

  • By 3:00 PM on Tuesday before the scheduled OFFICE INTAKE date

11. Should I proceed to show up at the office for my OFFICE INTAKE meeting if I do not have an invitation?

  • No!
  • Please wait for your invitation before making your journey   

12. Will I still be required to CLOCK IN on OFFICE INTAKE day?

  • Yes!
  • You should clock IN at 9:00AM as usual

13. At what time will the OFFICE INTAKE meeting begin?

  • 11:45 AM, and end at 12:45 PM

14. Once I arrive at the office on INTAKE day, can I stay for the remainder of the workday?

  • Yes!
  • If you intend on remaining for the rest of the day, please walk with your laptop.

15. How should I dress for the OFFICE INTAKE meeting?

  • Dress code for OFFICE INTAKE meetings is business casual

16. What usually happened during the OFFICE INTAKE meeting?

The typical agenda for OFFICE INTAKES is as follows: -

  • Meet team members
  • Meet supervisor
  • Answer questions

17. How many office INTAKE MEETINGS will I be required to attend?

  • Just one

18. What happens if I am not on-track with my task or career development plans by the date of the  scheduled OFFICE INTAKE meeting?

  • If you are deficient or have fallen behind, you will not receive an invitation.
  • Your invitation will be moved to the next INTAKE date 

 

NOTE: Be advised that management reserves the right to cancel and to reschedule OFFICE INTAKE meeting dates in its sole discretion due to shortages or because of limited staff attendance to make the meeting cost effective.
