Disciplinary System

Gross Misconduct – Class 1 violations

Gross misconduct is serious employee behavior that fundamentally breaches the employment contract and justifies immediate dismissal without notice or pay in lieu of notice. It involves actions that are flagrant, deliberate, and destroy the trust and confidence between employee and employer.

⦁    Recording of any video meetings on any personal device at anytime
⦁    Submitting false information on any report or spreadsheet document
⦁    Transferring candidate data/information from work email to personal email
⦁    Conducting phone interviews using a personal phone 
⦁    Posting of hollow hours without warning management that you have no tasks to work on
⦁    Changing passwords/log in details to any user account without management authorization 
⦁    Submitting work for which you created your our own scripts and templates

⦁    Using or tolerating the use of slang or negative communication in the course of screening any candidate
⦁    Failure to meet KPI targets as set by management 
⦁    Breach of confidentiality
⦁    Failure to ack all ask all questions required on any script
⦁    Posting negative post about company while employed
⦁    Theft of company property
⦁    Taking any action resulting in loss of revenue or opportunity to gain revenue, or the waste of resources
⦁    Failure to give recommended termination notice resulting in disorganized wind-down, loss or revenue or increased costs to company
⦁    Hostile termination forcing the company to terminate work already submitted/completed by you
⦁    Misrepresentation 
⦁    Actions resulting in loss or cancellation of job board account 
⦁    Failure to successfully complete required training
⦁    Breach of contract 
⦁    Violation of any company policy or procedure
⦁    Failure to report/make known to management any known information which will or could negatively affect the brand
⦁    Receiving negative feedback from any candidate which you screened
⦁    Adding the company to your social media profile while still in probation status
⦁    Unauthorized absence
⦁    Failing to follow a direct order

 

Gross Negligence – Class 2 violations
Gross negligence is an extreme form of negligence, characterized by a high degree of carelessness or recklessness that demonstrates a wanton disregard for policies and procedures.

Failure to self-manage or demonstrated lack of flexibility
⦁    Failure to complete assigned tasks by due date

⦁    Submitting emails with inconsistent/irrelevant subject area markings

⦁    Failure to read information sent to you by management

⦁    Conducting video interview without a split-screen recording

⦁    Not having APP functionality to download and use APPS on a smart phone  
⦁    Failure to follow CONVOS candidate contact policy
⦁    Failure wear white shirt/blouse while conducting a VIDEO meeting 
⦁    Failure to clock in/out as required
⦁    inaccurate scoring of candidate performence evidenced by VIDEO recording playback
⦁    Failing to communicate clearly, or failing to listen to the candidate during the interview process

⦁    Failure to make the case for employment references during any video interview

⦁    Failure to report candidate communication on the AFTERCARE spreadsheet

⦁    Submitting any spreadsheet with incomplete, missing, or inaccurate information
⦁    Leaving your designated work location while signed into work without management knowledge 
⦁    Failure to complete any assigned task(s) having had sufficient time to do successfully complete the tasks(s)
⦁    Breach of protocol
⦁    Violation of communication policy by failing to put issues on KITE spreadsheet for permanent future reference
⦁    Submitting screening results without attaching the candidate CV
⦁    Loss of internet service, or internet accessibility resulting in delays to task completion or work
⦁    Missing in action for 60 minutes or more while clocked IN.

⦁    Failure to acknowledge receipt of any task or assignment within 60 minutes of *confirmation of delivery (*=Email did not bounce) 
 

Ordinary Negligence – Class 3 violations
Unlike ordinary negligence involves simple carelessness. 

⦁    Errords on spreadsheets
⦁    Failure to attach spreadsheets to time card
⦁    Reporting late for work
 

Penalties
Class 1 violations are ZERO tolerance violations which carry automatic termination of employment
Class 2 violations which carry automatic 7 day suspensions from work
Class 3 violations which carry written warnings on the first instance


Disciplinary/corrective process
⦁    Incident report is issued against you
⦁    Disciplinary investigation begins
⦁    Notice of Action (email indicating company decision)
 

Appeal (administrative remedy process)
Step 1, file a local appeal using a GP -9 form
Step 2, if unhappy with decision of local appeal, file a regional appeal using form GP-10 
Step 3, if unhappy with decision of regional appeal, file national appeal using form GP-11
Atep 4, if unhappy with decision from national appeal, contact ACAS for binding mediation
